A Sneak Peak at Madame Zingara's new Show Lineup starting September 2013

For all those who are avid Madame Zingara fans, here we have some exciting news for you. Madame Zingara's Theater of Dreams has launched its new acts this spring. Here is a brief preview what is happening in the new production starting September 2013.

Hot Mr C

Hot Mr C was born in a traveling show and has spent his life in the lights and moving across the planet together with circus tents, opulent dinner shows and mirror palaces.

 

Beth- double strap act

Beth will be joining Madame Zingara in a double strap act with another male aerialist Martin Alves and together they will debut their joint aerial skills in act that has been specifically created for Zingara audiences.

 

Martin- Solo and duet aerial Act

Martin is reuniting with Madame Zingara after 6 years for the new production, After Forever, where he will be showing off his collection of new skills, performing as a solo act for September. In October, Beth Williams will be joining him and together they will be performing a dazzling duo strap.

This contortion duo will be performing daring feats that have never been seen before in South Africa, adding in a unique blend of elements such as balance, objects and archery. Their act is so orginal that it even has a trademark.

The hand-balancing act, his act combines strength, poise and agility with geometric props, using his legs and torso to create choreographed movements while supporting his entire body weight with one’s hands or arms. Alexander uses the quirkiness of the circus characters as his signature mark, stimulating Madame Zingara’s fans on all levels.

 

Russian Bar Trio

The Russian Bar Trio, three talented Ukrainians will be joining Madame Zingara, making a grand debut with their unique act. Their act involving strength, poise, agility, coordination and balance is performed on a bamboo beam, no wider than a diameter of 10cm. Daryna, the tumbler uses her own momentum to create a rebound tempo allowing her body to catapult into the air performing a variety of graceful twists and somersaults.
